Work Agreement In Agile

My name is Alex and I was a project manager. I made the transition to the agile world in 2009 and never looked back. I appreciated how fast and adaptable agile work was after the complexity and inertia of the waterfall. I also quickly discovered that it was as simple as Agile, it was really about changing people`s mindset to adopt a different working lifestyle. The change in mindset meant “showing the light” to people, so I became an Agile coach. However, in my experience as an agile consultant, the most productive product development teams all have one thing in common: consensus. They all felt included, heard and respected and were able to clearly establish the link between their individual goal and the vision of the product or project. It`s the story of how I was able to help a team I coached improve working relationships and work together to achieve better results. While the result of this trip was a series of work arrangements that reflect a new way of working, the story focuses on the team`s journey toward self-discovery and self-improvement. Through this trip, the team has achieved a better understanding and respect for one another that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. Now that you have the basics, here are examples of some clauses you can include in your team agreement. Some of them are specific to agile teams. These clauses are not meant to dictate to the team how the work is done, but to help emphasize the team`s behavior that keeps everyone accountable and productive.

The agreement could contain some basic information. For example, we could say that our base times are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This creates a foundation for employees` time in the office or online for a remote team.
